About the hotel

The Old Joinery is a converted barn style building, set back from the main house on the outskirts of the village of Cherhill. Set within the conservation area surrounded by open countryside with views up to the famous Cherhill White Horse and Ancient Monument. Crop circles are often discovered here during the summer months.

The barn accommodates up to 6 people within luxury bedrooms (a twin, a double and a super king) all with top quality bedding and accessories. Each room has it's own stylish bathroom with complimentary toiletries from The White Company. All rooms have Sony flat screen Freeview TV’s with a built in DVD/CD player, WiFi, Hairdryer and many other extra’s. Our double room is on the ground floor and we offer off street parking. There is a guest lounge with leather sofas, an oak dining table and chairs and a fully fitted kitchen. There is a small courtyard garden for the sole use of our guests. We welcome families, cyclists and walkers and can offer a drying room and facilities to clean and store bikes securely. The village of Cherhill is a lovely location, ideally set for walking, cycling and sight-seeing. We are only 5 minutes from the World Heritage sites of Avebury, Silbury Hill and the West Kennett Long Barrow and also Bowood Country House and Gardens. The typically English market town of Marlborough with its good shopping and fine restaurants is only 15 minutes away, as is The Caen Hill Flight of Locks in the market town of Devizes. We are also ideally located to visit the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. Salisbury, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park can also be reached within an hour. We are 5 minutes from Wellington Barn. We have a village pub serving home made food and a lovely Village Café serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, both within easy walking distance. On arrival guests will find a welcome pack containing organic, home-made and good quality local produce, including a home-made cake and fresh bread.

Ideal for a couples weekend retreat.

Very cosy and friendly run B&B with a touch of luxury.

Yummy home cooked breakfast in the lovely conservatory breakfast room, which overlooks the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. I was in the area on business, but it would be a lovely place for a quiet weekend away. Probably more suited to couples rather than a family.
