The Oak at Dewlish is a lovely characterful inn set in a lovely rural setting.
My room was well oppointed if a little small, but very comfortable none the less. The food and service was delightful, the fayre being traditional and very tasty. My only slight negative comment would be the laminate flooring in the corridor outside rooms is quite noisy when guests arrived and departed.
Friendly, family run inn.
Staff very friendly and attentive.
Food was good, although evening menu didnt have much choice, but understable to to the inn being small and 'off the beaten track', so not a criticism. They also gave us a 'tab' for the food and drinks which was convenient. The only stlight drawback of the room , was that we were above the pool/dart board area and could hear each dart hitting the board as it echoed up the wall!
