Nice little hotel, good value for money, located on high street so easy to get supplies from the local coop and food from takeaways or the pub itself.
Rooms are pleasant and exactly what you'd expect for the price, very nice.
A Perfect Location
Location and overall atmosphere of this pub/hotel in the centre of Malmesbury is ideal.
I was fortunate to get a quiet room but, beware, this can be a noisy pub. Room was comfortable. But,come Saturday morning the breakfast room was dark and silent,no-one around to welcome, explain lack of breakfast or apologise, and no proper explanation or apology was ever forthcoming - very poor customer service and something the brewery should take extremely seriously. Fortunately as it was the History Weekend there were lots of places to grab breakfast. Pity this marred my opinion of the hotel given the lack of choice in the town. Hopefully an unfortunate one-off!
