Our weekend stay.

Having read previous reviews prior to booking we decided to go ahead, excepting that a sat night can be noisy. We arrived on sat afternoon to a friendly welcome.

Our room on the 3rd floor was lovely and warm and clean with all facilities. Staff were really friendly and our evening meal was of a good standard and reasonably priced. On our return from a function the bar was very busy with younger persons all of whom were friendly and polite. The manager ensured we were seated and took care of our needs with ease. Our room was quiet dispite the noise in the bar. Breakfast was plentiful and of a very good standard with pleasant service. Third floor is a must if you want a quiet time on weekends before 2am. No problem staying here again and its nicely located.

Perfectly fine

On a Saturday night, it's lively - the bar is open to non-residents until 2am.

Which is a bonus, if you fancy that sort of thing. Upstairs, they kindly provide earplugs as well as shampoo and soap etc., But I didn't hear a thing on the second floor. Probably because I'd been downstairs until lateā€¦ Overall, an efficient, clean, pleasant place to stay in the heart of town. Absolutely fine
