basic
Not the best place or the worst to stay. Shower would not switch off, plug in the sink was stuck in, only 3 tea bags and 3 sugars in the room, Very basic and over priced , food good but not the best.

Good Room, Bad Service
Upon arrival there was nobody at Reception to check us in, I don't usually mind waiting but after 15 minutes and having to search the pub for someone to see to us, it would have been nice to have at least received an apology for the wait. Apart from that, the room was okay; the 'double bed' was two singles stuck together which I find uncomfortable, but the cleanliness and decor were okay. The food served is your typical chain pub restaurant, Fayre and Square meals rather than traditional option, but there are several other choices within driving distance.

Chase Inn
Decent value for money hotel on the outskirts of Nuneaton Town Centre. All staff both in hotel and pub were helpful, friendly and attentive. Room was spacious with usual attributes for a value venue, bathroom could benefit from a makeover although it was useable.
The bar provided a decent value for money menu which served a decent evening meal, plenty of different ales/lagers/cider on offer.
Breakfast was decent and substantial.
Would definitely stay again.

Major problem with bedroom doors being banged shut by several guests, this seems to be due to a very stiff latch on the doors making it very difficult to close quietly. Sound proving not good between rooms noise from other rooms till late at night. Food very reasonably priced in pub but breakfast not available until 7 o clock, no good for early start.

What a Gem
This is so good. Done a lot of travelling over the last 3 months, UK and Europe. This stands out. It is not 5 star and doesn't pretend to be. Great comfortable rooms in a hotel/pub with character. Excellent pub food with a big variety, Solid breakfast and great staff. Happy and helpful staff in all areas. A pleasure to stay

Noisy neighbours
Unfortunately our second stay at the Chase was ruined by constant door slamming and extremely noisy activity in the room next to us which went on from 11pm to after 4am. As there were no night staff on duty we were unable to take any action to remedy the situation.
