For a B&B it was suitable for my 2night stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and Pleasant.

The food was not bad and the service was good. Location was brilliant.only complaint was bathroom and toilet were small. But all in all liked it.

Room Access

My room was on the mezzanine floor.

Access with luggage was extremely difficult because of the narrowness of the stairway and the unevenness of the height of the steps. The recess between the door accessing the stairway and the bedroom door is too small for one person and a large suitcase. The fact that the door from the stairway opens inwards makes it extremely difficult to access the bedroom. And then there is a tiny step to be negotiated before entering the bedroom. There is another tiny step required to enter the bathroom on which I tripped on two occasions. I don't have any problem with paper bathmats, but the one supplied was thoroughly wet after one shower. Surely management can supply more than one paper bathmat for each guest. The fact that the hotel has no provision for guests to make phone calls is a problem for international guests who have been unable to purchase a sim card for the UK. Incidentally my place of residence is Roma, Italy not Roma, UK

Clean, comfortable and close to the tube

The hotel was a nice surprise.

Whenever you book a hotel that seems too much value for the money there's always that feeling of dread about what you'll uncover when you get there, but this was perfect for our short city break. It was less than 3 minutes walk from the nearest tube and the receptionist was polite and helpful. The room was small but clean, comfortable and quiet with all the basic amenities- tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, television etc. The bed was really comfortable too- no rock hard foam mattresses here. The bathroom was small and basic with a shower toilet and sink but very clean. There was a choice of options at breakfast which was nice and was served quickly which was good for when you're raring to get out and about. Would definitely come back again next time we're in London. Thank you.

We stayed in a twin room, which was quite small.

The walls had 'scuff' marks on them and the radiator had brown splash marks. The shower room was extremely minute with a door handle missing. The whole hotel really needs updating as it feels dark and dreary. Breakfast is in the basement, which was very humid and airless. Having said that the location is ideal for Pancras and Kings Cross stations.

1 night stay to catch Eurostar

Chose this as so near to St Pancreas terminal.

It was a very small room and very dark but clean and ok for 1 night. If you are in room 3 ground floor take ear plugs in case the occupant of the room directly above decides to tap dance across the room. There are wooden floor in most rooms and these do not absorb sound but are easy to keep clean. I wouldn't bother with going for breakfast cereals looked ok but the rest 1 sausage 1 strip of bacon 1 egg and an egg cup of baked beans was luke warm and barley cooked. Have stayed in Covent Garden for less only in Kings Cross area for Eurostar.

Great location for St Pancras station

I had an early train to Brussels - so the Fairway was ideal - almost directly opposite St Pancras.

It was inexpensive, but the basics were all there, as advertised. I had a room at the back, so quiet - apart from being woken at 4 a.m. by general commotion on the floor as other guests made use of the shared toilet and shower, which were right outside my room. The walls are thin. If you are planning to stay more than one night, choose your room carefully. The breakfast was prompt and okay.

hotel review

in general a good hotel in a central position near the main railway stations.

The room was small but clean with basic facilities. The only downside was the shared toilet and shower, i think they should invest in a new toilet seat the one fitted was very shabby and maybe update the shower room. The breakfasts were good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. A real shame it was let down by a small item which could be put right by a small outlay, however it was good value for money and i would stay again.

Basic but ok, average breakfast was welcome, clean and good location

Basic hotel like many of it's kind in London - but decent value, clean and friendly welcome.

Free wifi appreciated. Breakfast average but welcome, as expected. Very good location for Kings Cross St Pancras, British Museum - and only 25-30 minutes from Drury Lane/Covent Garden area; 35-40 mins to Traf Square.
