Aviation Heaven at Cork Airport Hotel
Miss your flight, pray for snow or do whatever it takes for an excuse to stay overnight at Cork Airport Hotel. It is the quirkiest, friendliest hotel in existence. The experience is really different, totally special. Give yourself enough time to see the 'surprise' in the breakfast room, mix and match from the versatile menu in the New Yorker grill the night before, pick up a chocolate bar from the hotel shop if you have a sweet tooth and think the personalised TV service in the room might keep you up for a midnight feast. Oh, and be sure to leave time to bask in the wing armchairs long enough for a lazy perusal of the day's paper, let your eyes roam over the exciting interior decor vistas courtesy of the in-house designer and perhaps visit the relaxation room which is surely unparalleled in any other hotel anywhere. You will probably hear something of interest from the warm, enthusiastic staff who are ready conversationalists, and can settle down for the night in your large comfortable bed and room reflecting on the fact that something independent and unique still exists in the world of travel, If you have an hour or two to spare in the airport come on over for the good food and elegant ambience. It is my favourite place to stop for a meal before flying or to spend the night, whether dove-tailed into a business trip (complimentary Danish pastries if you have to make the short trip over to the terminal for a really early flight) or for a leisurely birthday treat. Aviation heaven! If only the Wright brothers and Amelia Earhart could come back to see this pinnacle of air travel, Cork Airport hotel!

Excellent
After staying at a couple of B&Bs in Ireland, booked in here as our final stay before heading back to UK.
Wow! only 5 euros more than was paying in tiny B&Bs and every conceivable comfort we could have hoped for. Huge comfortable room, nice restaurant, a relaxing room with TV and massage chairs (automatic that is), Friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel also boasts a small cinema, gym and other facilities, but didn't have time to try.
Most definitely recommended!

May have missed something from the website
When i looked at their website before booking there was no reference to a fitness centre, and no pictures of it which I could see, however, there is apparently a fitness centre on the Third floor. I didnt go to it as i hadnt brought any kit with me. It was a shame to miss out on these facilities
