The hotel was convenient for train station and harbour. Owners were very pleasant . Tv and facilities were in the room hair dryer and iron fridge and microwave which you probably wouldn't use. Probably not suited for a young family or a romantic breach as walls a bit thin. Ideal for a budget break good access to Glasgow and nice shops and bars near by may be a bit quiet in winter nice sports centre and swimming pool near by.

fantastic written welcome on the inner door when we arrived late, the rooms where warm and welcoming on a bitterly cold evening, the bed was really comfy and woke to the smell of bacon cooking, we anticipated a good breakfast and was not dissapoited with two eggs really nice bacon and sausage and beans a real belly filler, the microwave and fridge in the room is a great idea, dont expect the ritz this is a good clean basic value for money hotel and i would be more than happy to stay again, in fact i almost certainly will,

Room was big and quiet. I had been moved from another room to a warmer one when someone cancelled. Owner very friendly and gave me some shampoo, when the shops were closed due to New Year. Would recommend.

We needed a low cost room for an overnight stay and this fitted the bill very well. The service was excellent and yes it was basic but it was very clean and comfortable and for the price we couldnt expect anything more.
