Great last minute break, would stay again
We stayed in the weaver's loft cottage and it was great, the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. As an adult on holiday with my father, it was nice to be able to book somewhere with separate rooms for a reasonable price. The location was excellent, very rural with great views, but only a short distance to walks, villages and places to visit. The only slight negative was the high price of breakfast, but the selection was good as was the quality.

Simonsbath splendour!
a weekend break with our big dog on the moor was what we wanted and the Simonsbath House Hotel was all we could have wished for. Lovely romantic room, great bed, a fabulous view to the River Barle, very good food, a huge selection of scotches and whiskies with luscious comfort, in the bar and lounge area. Andrew was a helpful and accommodating host and a fund of information about the Hotel and the area. We walked along the river in the morning, on the high moor later on and the coast the previous day before checking in. Lots to do and see. We intend to return.
