one night stopover
Charming staff in all respects. Room good and everything you need. Noisy students in street outside, as unfortunately it was freshers week at the University. This was not the fault of the hotel.

great hotel in centre of aberystwyth
travelled alone for a short break, stayed tues and weds, staff were friendly and helpful, if you are a guest in the hotel you get 10per cent of the food bill, breakfast was included, but great choice at night so ate in both nights. Lots of students came in at night, all having a great time, good to see youngsters having a great time. Out door area is shut at 9pm, so not too loud, slept fine, didn't need any ear plugs, will be staying here next time I go.

Nice hotel but parking is a problem.
Stayed during Freshers weekend so quite a lot of noise at night.
Very convenient for seafront and university.

Bank Holiday 2 Night Stay 24.8.14
We found this hotel to be very good. Breakfast was excellent. We dined both nights and took advantage of the 15% discount for residents on food. Drinks were reasonably priced and we could not fault the staff.

first stay in Aberystwyth
Very pleased. Lovely clean room, decent size, great shower, good tea / coffee facilities in room. Great food, good staff, worth eating there in evening too. Not much to suggest for improving except perhaps fresh coffee @ breakfast rather than instant ( but waitress said their coffee maker was currently broken hence only packets of instant). Also parking is an issue as the parking at rear gets taken quickly, and only option then is public paid parking away from the b&b, which actually can be a problem). But yes i would definitely stay here again. Really happy.

Lovely B&B, value for money, recommended
Travelling by train so needed a B&B close to the station. Harry is less than a five minute walk away. Extremely central and convenient for the shops, beach, castle, cliff railway and bus station if you want to travel out. The twin room for my Mum and myself was perfect. Used the Bistro downstairs for three evening meals. Service was slow on two occasions but didn't complain as food was lovely when it eventually arrived. Breakfast was ample even though there was no fresh fruit available. We opted for the vegetarian breakfast which was delicious. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Aber.

A Good Hotel.
A really good hotel handy for shops, transport, and the beach, excellent breakfasts and food in the bistro is good. Although this hotel does NOT have a lift,so would not be appreciated by some was no problem for us infact not puffed until the last flight(thats good on the fitness level)
The staff are all friendly and nothing too much trouble just ask!. The best part of this hotel is the bed i have had the 2nights best sleep for a long time, and the sheets are just bliss, never before have i stayed in a hotel with sheets like that soft, like suede abso bliss. We stayed at the top of the hotel (as this was only 3rms left) warm yes so was the weather, the windows opened no trouble as they were sash you can sometimes have trouble with these, bathroom was out of a brochure, clean, modern. No problem with this hotel at all.

Review of Harry's Bar
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is a pub and would probably noisy at the weekend...however, apart from someone waking us up at 3.30am there was no noise.
Our room was clean but very small. In fact we had trouble moving about the room. That said, they charged us less than we were supposed to pay...which was good customer service.
Harry's Bar is right in the town so in an excellent location.
