Viale Piacenza, 12 , Parma, 43126
Discover a unique blend of elegance and service at Starhotels, your gateway to the finest luxury hotel in Parma, Italy. Heavily influenced by the splendid reign of Grand Duchess Maria Luigia, the wife of Napoleon, Parma ?s glorious tradition of grandeur continues to thrive today. It?s a distinguished past often reflected in the locals? graceful apparel. Venture out, and you?ll be hard pressed to encounter anyone not dressed in his or her finest. Continue on to Piazza Garibaldi, the site of the former Roman court and now the focal point for a citywide network of beautiful palaces, shops, and elegant bars. Friendly Staff creates a good stay
This hotel was booked for a Rugby weekend. Initially the hotel was booked because of the price and also the location near to the railway station. The walk from the railway station took about 10 minutes. The hotel's Art Noveau design give it character missing from lots of hotels. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. All the staff always acknowledged all the guests.
The rooms are a very good size and well appointed. The bathrooms are also a good size with all the amenities you would expect. To ensure privacy there is a button next to the bed which when pushed illuminates a red light by the door to the room.
The room rates include Breakfast which is served until late in the main restaurant and consists of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, a selection of cold meats and cheese, serials, fruit and an excellent selection of pastries made at the hotel.
The hotel is situated next to the Parco Ducale and has an entrance directly into it. This makes a very handy short cut straight to the main sights of Parma. This means that the centre of the city is a 10 to 15 minute walk away.

Starhotels Du Parc
