Couldn't be better!
I stayed here with my family to celebrate a special birthday and it couldn't have been better. Our rooms were absolutely beautiful; spotlessly clean and so luxurious. Our evening meal and breakfasts were delicious and our spa experience was also perfect. The staff are so helpful and friendly too. I got a good deal through Laterooms so it even felt like good value for money. In short, highly recommended!!

A Delightful Experience In A Wonderful Setting...
We have nothing but praise for this excellent hotel, situation and the service which we received from extremely well trained and highly efficient staff. The privately owned hotel has a most interesting Scottish history, luxurious interior and furnishings in which to relax and enjoy. The ambiance is further enhanced with the wonderful views across the Clyde and mountains beyond.
We shall look forward to a future visit.

Hotel by the Clyde
Given a room in the Spa wing, no privacy from dog walkers and passing cars. Bathroom decoration getting rather tired. A la carte dinner was excellent, breakfast was average. All the staff were first class

An outstanding property with excellent facilities, superb spa and leisure complex, stunning golf course and a very good fine dining experience. What would have been a first class all-round F&B offering was limited by one of the dining options (Il Posto restaurant) being closed. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgable with those in the Cristal Dining Room a particular credit to their team.
The overall experience was let down slightly by a dirty bath and bathroom floor (hair everywhere) and a lukewarm breakfast buffet however, everything else would bring us back and soon.

Perfect weekend getaway
Beautifully situated by the banks of the Clyde, Mar Hall is in a delightful spot. Our room was sumptiously furnished with double window aspect overlooking the lovely gardens. The Spa and pool were very inviting and all of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Definately will return.
