Very pleasant hotel/pub in small old town centre
Very nice experience despite tight but adequate parking; lovely food, friendly & helpul staff!
Value for Money
Very good hotel for one night business trip stay.
Small single room but equipped with all that I required, comfortable bed, and a desk to work at. Shower room attached clean and with fresh towels provided however the shower itself was very tired; broken tiles, lime scale, and sealer discolouration. Bar food and breakfast good and well cooked. Even with shower. I would stay there again. Great value for money in that part of London.
Old-fashioned, comfortable and charming
I enjoyed my stay in this lovely old hotel, which doesn't feel like part of a chain.
My room was petite but contained everything needed in a well thought out layout; the bed was extremely comfortable. Getting to it was an adventure via long narrow corridors with odd turns. It was very quiet, though there were a lot of guests. Parking is limited, but there is a public car park 150m away. Will return when I need to stay in the area...
Anchor Hotel Shepperton
Good value for money.
Lovely setting, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed.
This is a gem of a hotel - Ok the rooms are a bit dated and the corridors and doors can be a little noisy, but all in all it offers excellent value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Shepperton. Thank you all again!
nice hotel /pub
lovely old public bar , nice food, the only thing that let it down was the very small room, and you could hear next door and upstairs but comfty bed nice bedding.
Very noisy rooms
when anyone walks in the corridor, its like they're walking in your room
Anchor Hotel Shepperton
Better if you just want to sleep.
A little long in the tooth, but good value
The Anchor is an old pub/hotel which has lots of character.
The room was small, but good value as a single. Everything was clean and tidy, but was a little old and 'creaky'. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I wouldn't have any worries about staying again.
Overnight stay at the Anchor
Quaint hotel set in old town square with bags of history.
Very nice outlook and sister hotel just across the square on the river Thames. We attended a family Wedding which was catered for between the two, the ceremony taking place at the Anchor and the Wedding Breakfast at the Warren Lodge. The chap on reception at the Anchor couldn't have been more pleasant, very cheery and chatty. The bar staff and waitresses were also friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything that you might need. As with any old building, there were creaky floorboards and winding staircases but it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was cooked beautifully and there was plenty to choose from. Overall, good quality for money for an overnight stay.
