Staff great, Room Ok, Food terrible!
The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly at check-in. The room was fine, and it was nice to see the view from the Sky Room on the top floor.
However, there was only 1 lift for a 12 storey hotel and it was not sufficient. There was also no indication of where the lift was, or if it was coming towards you.
The food was very poor in the restaurant, both for Dinner and the buffet breakfast. Avoid! Food was tough on the outside and cold in the middle, and certainly didn't taste fresh. Other restaurants are available locally.

5*
What a lovely hotel. Price was great. Food was excellent quality and good value. We requested a high floor room which they came up trumps floor ten which was fab. Clean and modern room fantastic. Best of all were the lovely reception staff Danny and Tanja. Very friendly with great knowledge Danny recommended the German Xmas market in Birmingham which was brilliant. Thanks guys we will definitely be returning.

not as good as i was expecting
not impressed with the hotel overall and was expecting a better experience. only had the breakfast i paid for one of the mornings, no cups available to make hot drinks, hardly any choice if you don't want a fry up, little attention given to replenishing food and what was there not good quality. breakfast room too small for size of hotel.
room comfortable and didn't utilise any other areas.

Second time around
Booked this hotel for the second year running for myself a few mates to stay in prior to visiting the mororcycle show at the NEC. The hotel is perfectly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The only downside was that there was a coach party in and they were all at breakfast at once, which left a shortage of food and crockery etc. But all resolved very quickly.
Will likely be back again.
