Shabby
Double room was obviously designed to be a single room and was therefore very cramped. The bed was up against a wall making it difficult to get in and out of bed. There was a cold draft coming either through the wall or window (not sure which; could have been both). On the second day the heating failed. We were eventually relocated to a bed room in the main building, which was of the standard that we expected. The cooked breakfast was reasonable but cereal choice was limited to 'Cocopops' and there was only marmalade or marmite to choose from.

My food rating was only based on breakfast.
I would normally have had a healthy cereal but only had the normal keloggs sugary cereals, rice krispies etc available.
The fruit selection was a little disapointing, peaches, pineapple or mixed fruit cocktail. No citrus fruits on offer.
Apart from that the food was good.
I didn't have time to look around the facilities to be able to rate it properly. I arrive at 9pm at night and was gone by 8am the next day.
I would happyily stay again and would recommend it to colleagues as a place for restful sleep. Without spending more time and seeing it properly I can't fairly rate it for suitability for leisure but I can for work trips.

The room was a little bit small but clean and comfortable. The shower was powerful and the air con a bonus.
Breakfast choice was minimal but adequate. The bar staff where helpful and friendly.
Overall a good experience and at a reasonable price.
