Paignton 2014
Very warm welcome by owner, who showed me to my room. The room was very clean, if a little small. the meal that evening was very ggod quality and well presented, as was breakfast the next morning. On my second night on returning to the hotel I fell asleep and was too late for my evening meal which was disappointing as I wanted to repeat the previous nights food experience. The moral is to let them know if you want to eat as the chef finsihes quite early. Will stay again when in the area.

Definitely not Fawlty Towers
From arrival to departure I could not have found a more accommodating and welcoming owner and staff. My room, although not having a great view, was clean, comfortable, almost cosy with flat screen TV, kettle and tea/coffee facilities, soft towels and proper toilet paper!
I ate breakfast each morning, full English day 1 and boiled eggs day 2 because the Full English kept me going all day and I was lunching out on day 2! The food was freshly cooked, hot, well presented, great quantity and very tasty. The sausages, my yardstick for a proper breakfast, were succulent and the fried eggs perfect for dipping with the fried bread.

Food with a view!
Very pleasant, ,friendly welcome. We were here for the Paignton bike weekend and webooked this hotel as being biker friendly and no complaints there! Slightly off the beaten track to find but within easy walking distance of the town. Room was spacious with a modern bathroom and spotlessly clean. Did mention to the owners that wallpaper was not matched which to me and the price paid for the room was a bit 'off' as not the cheapest place! Food was very good and a varied menu. All waitress served including juice and cereal which normally tends to be help yourself. Lovely large dining room with wonderful views over paington. Generally happy with our stay.

Charming hotel
Really enjoyed my stay here, the room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and excellent,The menu could have more vegetarian options but they would happily create something for veggies if asked! restaurant and lounge area had sea views, with lots of windows which gave it an open and airy feel.I highly recomend this hotel.
