very poor 5 star
Very disappointed with the whole stay.
Road works and de-tours to get to it to start. We got to our suite only to be surrounded by a view of workmen and very very loud constant building work. I telephoned reception and asked to move rooms all rooms with a view were the same and was told it would stop by 6pm but also start again at 8am!!. We waited a very long time then for a room inside only to find the noise the same only a little quieter. The room choice we made included breakfast in the morning to which we were told we were only allowed full English breakfast of the menu they offered, anything else was charged extra?. My partner wanted an omelette which was half the price of full English but still charged on top. very ignorant staff
Hotel staff room the service everything was great 😃
Excellent midweek deals - great hotel
Very much enjoyed my stay, location isn't too bad, a walk up embankment is a lovely way to spend some time if you have it to spare.
The staff were fantastic and bent over backwards to help me out. Was given a very affordable upgrade too!
Fabulous! Would recommend and will be back!!
Worth walking to
I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a fantastic 2 bed river view suite.
This offered plenty of room for 2 couples or a group of friends and I was sorry that I didn't have time to enjoy it more. The numbering on Albert Embankment is strange so if you arrive at Vauxhall, ignore the fact that the river side is going up with odd numbers in the 90's as you walk towards city. The hotel is on the other side of road.
Excellent check in experience, effortless service, always there when you need them, but never bothering you.
The dinner at the restaurant was incredible, and again, the service was fantastic, but never intrusive.
Great studio room with fantastic facilities
Our studio room was clean, spacious and modern with excellent kitchen facilities.
The bar downstairs is really stylish and a great place for pre-dinner/show drinks, and the Chino Latino restaurant had possibly the best vegetarian tasting menu I've ever had. Great non-veggie options too. All in all a really great hotel and very good value for money.
Paradise on the river
I chose this Hotel as a treat for my new wife and my wedding night for a three day unwind after getting married.
And i dont think i could have chosen any better, On booking i requested an apartment with the best view possible and wasnt dissapointed we were on the 9th floor with floor to celing windows overlooking the Thames , by night the view was spectacular. We also used room service on our stay and every time the food was superb and all the service staff were friendly an helpfull and very warm. My wife and i really could not fault this hotel in any way all our expectations were met by the apartment itself and all of the staff that we encountered. Our first thought on check out was that we really have to stay here again.
Great location and good staff
Excellent friendly helpful staff and room upgraded as it was my friends 30th birthday.
Room nice view and very big, starting to look a little tired for a 5 star price. I found the food to be rather basic and really poor value for money and the hall carpet was rather smelly. However I would return but perhaps to the 4 star side of the hotel as other then staff service this already felt like a good 4 star hotel not quite up to previous 5 star we have stayed in but also not as expensive either so not too bad.Could not fault staff and they were very good and knowledgeable. Good check in and very close to all attractions. Very comfortable beds but bathroom getting a little old with slight mould not really 5 star standard.
Fantastic hotel in a great location and my kids absolutely loved it.
Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London. It was the best part of my 3 boys weekend break to London
