West Country charm
An idyllic small family hotel, with an excellent restaurant, eclectic wine list and decent real ale. Secluded location with excellent outlook onto unspoilt mendip countryside and lake. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Would highly recommend to others (and have done so) and will be revisiting next time we are in the West Country walking the Mendip Hills. All of this with reasonable pricing gives good value for money and a memorable experience.

Nice stay if it doesn't rain..lol
The wardrobe could do with better hangers rather than the metal ones, our dresses kept falling off them and the wardrobe wasn't deep enough to hang the dresses so we had to hang them on the curtain rail. Towels could be bigger, my daughter is a size 10 and just go it round her. Nothing majorly wrong besides it rained the whole time but hey this is not their fault!
Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was lovely

Cold Camerely Lodge
The hotel was in a lovely location, beautiful surroundings and very friendly on arrival. They didn't have us on their system as staying with them so not prepared for us. Not sure if that was the hotels error or Laterooms.
They said the room was ready but still a little cold as the heating was not turned on in there,
The hotel was cold all over but freezing in our room. It did not warm up.
Such a shame as the room was clean and the bathroom was good too. Could have been cozy and comfortable. The food was very good but the room was cold. The lounge had a fire in it, unlit.
My children were cold the whole time and woke up many times in the night cold.
It was February and a really cold night but that shouldn't make the stay so cold i wouldn't return.

delightful location
We were made so welcome and comfortable at Camely Lodge. Nothing was too much trouble for John and Paula. We felt like we were spending a few days with friends. Food excellent, room comfortable, great supply of towels and wonderful views.
