A Night inthe Gaol
Very friendly welcome although we arrived early. Accommodation was quirky, but to a very high standard. The breakfast which was provided was excellent and varied. The apartment was within a short walk of the town centre and just across the road from the lovely Carlisle Park. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Whilst the appartment was small it was clean and well furnished, probably a little cramped if staying for more than a few nights. Good location and walking distance to an excellent restaurant. The owner was on site during our stay and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Morpeth area better than most hotels.

ok but
every thing needed was there but the wash basin in the bathroom , and the sink/hotplate in the living area were really small and impractical.

Morpeth apartment
Excellent accommodation & certainly as good as or if not better than a decent 4 star hotel room.
Fabulous location as very central to Morpeth town, opposite a nice park & despite it being near a busy road it was very quiet.

Gem of a find!
Really pleased we chose to stay here. It is 1 minute's walk from the centre of Morpeth, with a bar and restaurant over the road plus a lovely big park with walks along the river.
For £80 a night (executive room) including breakfast it is amazing value, especially when compared against what else was available. It was nice going upstairs to the bedroom at night, a novelty for a hotel stay!
We stayed during the heatwave when it was nearly 30 degrees, but despite there being no air con, I think the thick stone castle walls meant the heat stayed out as I feel the heat but was never too hot at all.
The provided breakfast was a lovely touch, nice to be able to serve yourself each morning. All in all a fantastic place to stay, would recommend to anyone.
