Overpriced for a basic room
Nothing wrong with the room just felt for what we paid it didn't quite live up to the price.
Room was clean however and It had a nice feel to the place.
Somewhere clean to lay your head, decent value
We realised late on that this hotel is used alot by stag and hen parties.
This was the case during our one Saturday night stay but tucked away on the 4th floor we weren't effected by any disturbance at all (or maybe we got lucky with a polite bunch). The room / bedding / towels and bathroom were all spotless. The furniture and decor was very tired but if you just want somewhere to sleep, close to the beach and town centre, that's clean and a more than adequate breakfast with polite staff then Bourne Hall is fine. People with children might reconsider for a weekend stay though.
The room was good value you for money but unfortunately the room wasn't very clean, the towels were dirty and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned.
Was relieved to find the sheets were clean. It's definitely worth buying the breakfast tho it was to a good standard and well worth the money.
Last minute getaway
Hotel was very dated & in need of a refurb - parking facilities were adequate & certainly a plus for the hotel.
One member of staff was on duty when we arrived he was very surly & not particularly welcoming but was multitasking in his role as bar tender & receptionist the downstairs toilet was really dirty & the sink in which I washed my hands was in need of a good dose of disinfectant . Our room was adequate but again very dated the door frames and the paintwork were filthy with muck and the wooden shelf units next to our bed were full of dust I had to wipe down the bathroom sink with wet wipes as it was dirty we didnt venture into the shower . I thought the room was overpriced but obviously the hotel is in the heart of the town & it was bank holiday. A basic hotel that needs a refurb & a good steam clean .
It was what we wanted. A room to stay in for the week while we escaped to Bournemouth.
I enjoyed staying at the hotel but I did find that my room wasn't cleaned regularly and tea and whatever wasn't supplied at times but other than that the breakfast was good value for money and they certainly knew how to feed their guests.
Value for money hotel in good loation for my rerason for visit
Ideal for over night stay local to town centre
This hotel is only fit for contractors who are out of the area, bog standard accommodation, uncomfortable beds, no plug sockets near the bed.
Room 307 has a cracked toilet bowl, a cracked mirror and windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned since before Xmas
Well valued and nice room
Lovely and helpful staff, hotel in great position for those wanting to explore town.
My single room was very cheap and had exactly whatever I needed (a bed). I also had a sea view which was a pleasant surprise. Wasn't expecting anything excited and in hindsight i am satisfied with what I received
