not that good
the rooms are quite basic really...
its not worth the money, yes you do get a big bed but that's it!
the breakfast was poor I wouldn't recommend this place to family or friends as there is a lot better accommodation in the area at cheaper prices...
The reception staff are nice and helpful!! you get woken up from 8am onwards by cleaners banging..
the windows are tiny and don't open very much.
overall very expensive for what it is and definitely wouldn't stay here again :( :( :(

hotel in excellent location within easy access of buses to city centre.location of hotel within cricket ground great for a cricket fan.
hotel is clean, tidy and quiet.
only failing is the lack of cooked breakfast facilities at the weekend as the cafe within the stadium complex is only open mon-fri,
the alternative being a continental breakfast in the room

Bowled over!!!
I booked this accomodation 10 months before needed due to Tour de France and this was the only place that seemed good, near to Leeds that the reviews were honest, so i booked Headingley Lodge (they only do room only). This place is fantastic, the room was clean and the bedding snow white, and the bed was comfy. The room was a decent size, it has a clothes area (were you can hang and store various items), a table, 2 chairs, small fridge, dressing table, and still there was enough room to clearly walk around the room. The en suite was clean and well maintained. The view was good over looking the cricket pitch. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful when called upon. On the grounds there is a cafe that's open to the public and you go there for your Breakfast, if you require one, the Full english was excellant, good choice of items and more importantly it was hot and not fatty. If Headlingley Lodge has a downside, its that the cafe shuts in the afternoon so no evening meals are served so you do have to go and find somewhere to eat, and has someone who was travelling alone that can be hard to do. Another great thing about this place is the secure parking that is included.
Transport links are great...a little walk to the top of the road and you can catch a bus to Leeds centre roughly every 10 minutes. This is one hotel that i will be returning to again and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality place to stay.

Sky Walking!
Good size room with large bed as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Views over the cricket ground for those interested. Not far from the pubs and shops of Headingley - good place to stay.
But beware if there is a cricket match on that Sky are covering - as they take over the hotel car park. That was the one real negative - as I was sent to an alternative car park that was quite a way from the Lodge - indeed the furthest one away of the many car parks at the stadium. Disappointing as booked the Lodge to be handy for car parking and ended up carrying bags up the road. Check when you book!
The other minor blip was the Sky Sports option on the TV as the channel available seemed to be controlled from elsewhere. Was watching a game on Sky one night and suddenly on the screen came the numbers 103 being entered from a remote somewhere and I was suddenly left watching Celebrity Mr and Mrs of all things!! Bizarre.

Heavenley
Have been wanting to stay at the lodge for some time and wasn't disappointed. Stopped on a night rugby was on just to get that extra Headingley Experience, shame the cricket wasn't on as it looks out over the pitch.

Great view
I loved my room and it served its purpose very well. However, the atmosphere downstairs is leck ing a little. There is no proper restaurant or bar so there is very little interaction with others. Saying that, I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
