Family Mini Break
A lovely hotel, room a bit smaller than expected. Had a stained blanket on the children's bed when we arrived (soon changed by the hotel when we brought it to their attention). Nice breakfasts in the restaurant. Lovely swimming pool and gym facilities. A reall nice stay overall.

As this hotel is so remote, having only the Bournemouth Hospital one side, Tescos the other & any other restaurant only accessible by car, it is a pity that the Restaurant, in the hotel, is not open Sunday evening. There was a fast food menu available in the bar, which was better than nothing, but not what we would have preferred, when we are having a weekend away.

Best yet
Stayed in hotels in Brighton, Bournemouth (not Village Hotel) and Weymouth this year and this all round was the best by far.

Hotel in General
Very poor signposting to reach the hotel.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the reception did not inform us that the hotels pub and dining facilities are franchised and the restaurant closes at 6pm on a Sunday and the bar closes at normal closing even if you are a resident. Managed to eat in the pub on Sunday night as this was the only place open in the hotel opened. Rest of the week ok although the Velocity restaurant pricey and not good value. Be warned this is the busiest gym/swimming pool I have seen.

my opinion
Everything was good. I found the bar drinks prices were very expensive and the telly kept losing stations and sound was slower than picture.
