Does what it says on the packet
There was nothing amiss with our stay but equally nothing memorable either. A small problem with unavoidable power cuts was ably overcome and very well handled by housekeeper, sorry have no name. She was the most memorable person and I was pleased to have met her.
My biggest critisism would be the ambience in the dining room for evening dining. Fine for breakfast but very sterile for an evening meal.

Great staff
The room was tidy and clean and the staff were really friendly. Some small gripes that in no way affected my enjoyment whilst there:
Television signal was poor (but I wasn't there to watch television)
Internet signal in the room was intermittent, kept having to log back on.
At breakfast I asked for poached egg on toast & was told to do my own toast... I suggested that the kitchen might do this for me and there were no issues.
Thank you for a pleasant stay as everything else was perfect.

Not a great start
Once past recetion, where I waited almost 15 minutes for someone to come out of the back office, the room was very warm, clean and comfortable, probably the most comfortable room I have slept in for a long time. Room service was good, food ready in a lot less that the 30 minutes they ask you to allow, although the steak was not cooked as requested, it was still very good. Only problem being the next morning when I tried to take a shower, the hot water did not extend to the shower so had to take a very cool shower and the bath filled up before I was finished, so had to turn the shower off and wait for tub to drain before I could finish. This spoiled the stay for me and would probably cause me to not stay again.
