The room was excellent and met our needs before travelling on. The only downside for us was having to climb so many stairs BUT the service compensated for that by carrying suitcases up and down.
Breakfast is very good value for money.

Good location but no ensuite facilities
Location is good...very close to kings cross; I was in a basement room which was overlooking a small courtyard at the back and because this overlooks the kitchen doors and bins it is a bit hard to have your curtain open in the morning when the staff are doing the breakfast and using the bin; although the room itself was ok, and interestingly had a shower and washbasin in the room, for the price I was disappointed that there were no ensuite facilities

Lad's weekend
I found the location of the hotel to be perfect in terms of quick access to king's cross underground station. The hotel was very clean and and the staff were both courteous and extremely helpful with any queries we may have had. For a lad's weekend away it was the perfect place to stay and we will be back again.

One Night Stay
Perfect for a one night stay in a three bed room, and close enough to catch the morning Eurostar at St Pancras with ease. Friendly reception and room spot on.

Poor value
Very disappointing. Pleasant and helpful staff, but the bedroom was dire. The bed sheets, pillow-cases and pillows were all of some artificial material. The mattress felt soggy. There were inadequate towels. There were none of the usual bath adjuncts provided. (Imitation soap from a squeezy bottle is not what I expect at this price-level.)

Unexceptional Hotel Typical of its Type
So here we have a standard small hotel typical of what one might expect in this area for the price. So £160 buys you a room that is about the size of a large cupboard, high windows, non-functioning air con; aa bathroom which looks like it was once a cupboard and which is not big enough to contain a sink as well as a shower and toilet. The bathroom in particular smells of damp and the bed linen was clean but the bed uncomfortable. The reception/greeting was cold and unwelcoming and money was taken in full upon arrival. Breakfast was in the basement, and was ok, though I'd be surprised if the sausage was constituted of much in the way of actual meat!

Comfortable stay
This hotel was very close to St. Pancras station so was very convenient for an early start. Easy to find and reasonably quiet. Three floors and no lift so if needed make sure you ask for a ground floor room.
