Birthday Treat

Met on a wet windy afternoon by smiling friendly manager.

Shown to a superb modern suite type room with excellent bathroom fittings, and 6ft. luxurious bed. Dinner the most memorable ever. Imaginative, almost surreal cuisine, with delicious wines. Magnificent comprehensive breakfast. All staff helpful and friendly. Unforgettable experience.

Hipping Hall experience

In all honesty, the only reason we came here was that we saw it on The Trip.

From our perspective, we did not think it lived up to the movie with regard to the restaurant food. We liked the food but felt it would have been nice to have either a beef or chicken selection on the menu. For the price, if you did not eat pork or fish you were stuck with the vegetarian option which I would not have chosen. Perhaps a few more choices would have been nice. Plus the size of the breakfast was a little miserly. The room was very comfy and our outlook lovely.

Fantastic food and service

We had a great stay at Hipping Hall.

Our room (room 9) was on the small side but nicely furnished and with a fantastic bathroom, a very comfy bed and lovely soft sheets. The real highlight was the food - both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Helpful, friendly staff, light, airy, comfy room, hotel set in beautiful gardens and surroundings

Well looked after in all departments, Our room was beautifully furnished, with a walk in shower, just one small grumble could have benefited from an easy chair.

The orangey provided an excellent space to enjoy a welcome pot of tea and delicious home made lemon drizzle cake provided on arrival. The gardens are well kept and a delightful area to partake in a pre-diner stroll prior to dining in the palatial vaulted dining room on a very enjoyable evening meal. We were certainly well looked after and most certainly will return
