Chelsea Guest House Hotel
The hotel was excellant value, the room was exceptionally clean.
The only problem was sets of damp 'greying' coloured towels had been placed at the end of the beds making the covers wet. We told reception who said he would change them but never did.
That said I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
I've stayed here several times and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms is excellent.
The customer service is second to none and the location is great for connections to the city centre via bus and tube. I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in London whose on a budget.
Stayed one night after attending a concert in Brixton
Lovely clean room, very comfortable bed and great power shower.
Service at reception was excellent and nothing was too much for the staff. Close enough location to he concert venue - 02 Academy, Brixton. Went with my 20 year old daughter, would stay again if I needed to go to the same area.
A basic hotel that was clean.
The reception person was very pleasant and helpful. Shared toilet not welcome. Single glazed windows meant it was very noisy for most of the night with lots of traffic outside.
did the job
Booked this hotel as a place to crash after a gig in Brixton.
Easy enough to find, room was clean, beds were comfortable.
clean and good value
very satisfied although sound proofing could be a bit better
Very helpful staff
Great local advice and 2 very, very helpful maps on arrival.
Great hotel for Clapham Common Concerts/Festivals
Great hotel for the price.
Our triple room was spotless and had all the essentials needed. We stayed here to go to the SW4 festival in Clapham Common, which was only a 10 min walk away. I will be using this hotel for all future SW4 events i go to.
A Fantastic Stay in London for a Fantastic Price.
The Chelsea Guest House was a very pleasant place to stay after a long day exploring London.
The location of the guest house is relatively near the city centre (I found Stockwell station on the Victoria Line the fastest way to enter the city), and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff provided travelling information and an all important map. The rooms were clean and well looked after, including a very comfortable bed and en suite. We were provided with everything that we wanted and the staff were quick to help us when we had a request. One issue that we experienced was that the rooms became hot at night as we visited in July, and there was no air conditioning, meaning we had to open the window and sleep with the noise of the busy streets which woke us on occasion. There was also a green light near the door which couldn't be switched off and made dozing off slightly difficult, however I would appreciate if it was necessary for safety. Other than the picky criticisms, the Chelsea Guest House was a very pleasant stay at a tremendously good price and I would certainly stay again!
basic b and b
small but friendly place.
we had the loft room, which as outside temps were above 70 degrees, made sleeping uncomfortable with no air con.
