Very friendly staff on arrival, check in very quick, room very clean and recently re-furbished,
no noise in anyway, breakfast service fast, food hot but very limited choice, well worth the
value would definitely stay again.
Terrible customer service.
The room was so small the bed was pushed up against the wall and we had to jump over our suitcase to get round the bed.
A single made into a double I expect. The sink was blocked. Toilet seat loose. The door didn't open fully because it caught the wardrobe door as it opened. Very uncomfortable bed with springs sticking through the mattress. Generally filthy and smelly all over the hotel. This is the worst hotel we've been to.
Grim down south
Wasn't expecting the Savoy but was worse than imagined.
Stained beds, filthy shower curtain, non existent pillows. Breakfast was supposed to be full English, 1 piece of shrivelled bacon and inedible sausage, a few beans drowned in bean juice. Decent fried egg. All we wanted was somewhere clean to sleep.
We was in the smallest room the bathroom door never opened fully and the we also could not turn the heating off so very hot in their .Also i had to climb out of thr bed to go to the toilet as the bed was pushed up against the wall.
Good budget Hotel
Well located budget hotel
Staff helpful and attentive - decor a little tired but beds are clean and comfortable - good cooked breakfast - very close to public transport.
Ok for what it is - a cheap room in London
Slightly put me off at the start when I walked up to the hotel and saw a few homeless people drinking lager from cans whilst standing outside watching the TV in the hotel reception.
That said, the room was ok, (although the bathroom door wouldn't open fully because it banged against the bath) the wi-fi went off after 10 minutes and I couldn't get it back on and then breakfast was more than adequate if very, very slow. I paid £74 including breakfast which is brilliant for central London so whilst it won't win any awards, it was perfectly fine to stay in.
Pleasant hotel and staff
Budget Hotel - Good for a short Stay
I booked this hotel for a stag do as it was very reasonably priced.
We arrived early and asked to leave our bags somewhere safe but were told just to leave them next to the reception (We did get the chance to leave expensive items behind the counter). When we returned later my friends jacket was missing which sadly they couldn't find but told us to ring in a few days if it turned up. The room itself was ok, quite small but clean and the bathroom provided 2 soaps/2 towels for our twin room.
Breakfast in the morning was a tasty full English with a few slices of toast, coffee and orange juice.
A good budget hotel but I wouldn't expect too much...
