A great stay at the Aston Hall Hotel
I stayed at the Aston Hall Hotel with a friend to attend a them night to celebrate my daughters Birthday. On arrival my friend and I were were greeted by a very friendly, efficient and pleasant young lady, we were allocated a lovely room which was also very clean. The kitchen staff indulged me by presenting a birthday cake that evening I had brought with me as a surprise for my daughter.
The Breakfast was very good and and the young lady hat attend our table was very nice, friendly and couldn't do enough. All in all our stay was was great and in no small part due to the staff. Well done everyone!

disappointing for the price
Unfortunately on arrival the room was very cold and as it was big it took HOURS to warm up. We woke up cold in the night too. In addition, the walls are paper thin: we could hear everything in the room next to us and the bed shook whenever anyone walked around nextdoor or in the corridor.
Lovely roll-top bath and nice big room though.

I was disappointed that it was really noisy. We had no sleep due to noise of other guests that were still disturbing us at 4am in the morning.

upgraded to a superior room, got a huge room with sofas and four poster bed.
The hotel, staff and food where all faultless. My only critisism was the seal on the bottom of the showere screen was disgusting very mouldy and dirty and slimey. Such a shame for such a fabulous room.

Clean, modern and well located
I've stayed here on a couple of occasions now and have always been impressed with the quality of the rooms. The house is situated in an impresssive grounds and if you're lucky, you can get a room with a great view, but if you're unlucky, you may have to settle with a roof or car park view! Everything is clean and contemporary and the staff are smart and polite.

Aston Hall
The air conditioning was broken in one of the rooms and although it was turned off it was very noisy all night. We did report it but the staff just advised to turn it off - it kept growling at us even though it was set to off.
