Ducks at Kilspindie House
Stayed 2 nights b&b on an anniversary/golf break Great location for golfers.
Small hotel in a quiet village. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and dated with very squeaky floors but clean, shower over bath was useless - water trickled out burning hot or freezing cold so just used the bath - no extractor and the window couldn't be opened. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was of a good standard. Had dinner one night which wasn't that good and not worth the money although it was nicely presented.
Close to Edinburgh, golf, and the seashore
Friendly and good value.
Excellent breakfasts. Good bar and restaurant/ bistro
Stay at Ducks at Kilspindie House
Overall my stay was fantastic.
The staff couldn't have been more friendlier or helpful. Cooked breakfast was amazing and my room had everything I bedded and was very clean. Nice enjoyable and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend
overpriced and disappointing
food was ok but not the standard they boasted.
frozen chips with dinner, breakfast was almost cold and some overdone. rooms were clean and functional but in desperate need of modernisation. the staff were attentive and pleasant but generally the stay was overpriced and not up to expectations as advertised
Top egg at ducks

All of the family enjoyed there stay and celebration
Of my 60th birthday
Evening celebrations and meal was excellent
Really traditional Scottish hospitality
Welcoming & full of character
The hotel was warm and cosey, with character, spotlessly clean, excellent food, perfect for me and my teenage daughter and I look forward to returning with my partner.
Leisure stay at Ducks
Good base to play golf in the area.
Very helpful and energetic staff who go out of their way to accommodate all of your needs. Value for money and ultra friendly. Will be back!
Accomodation was dated but clean and had everything we needed.
Superb family run hotel.
This was a last minute booking and chosen as they allow pets, so really nice to arrive to a warm welcome in an ideal location for both Edinburgh and the coast line. Even though the rooms are a little dated, the hotel is very clean and is full of Scottish charm. We were made to feel at home and will certainly return if we are in the area again.
Layout of room made entry to bathroom slightly cramped
