Hotel Le Petit is located in the historic center of Rome in a splendid Umbertino-style building, in which the first mayor of Rome, Ernesto Nathan, lived.

Situated in a neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, the hotel is also close to the subway station Repubblica (line A) and is only 300 meters from the Termini railway station.

Among the services offered are complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas, room service from the breakfast and bar menus, and a comfortable TV lounge.

Each room has a TV sat ,PAY per view, air conditioning , minibar and hair-dryer., SAFE. Two of this rooms have a splendid terrace in the corner of the building.

For an extra charge, this Rome hotel provides a roundtrip airport shuttle service (advanced reservations are required for airport transfers).

Lovely hotel with lots of character
This was the perfect hotel for our visit to Rome - a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum and loads of shops and bars just around the corner.
The hotel itself was really cosy. The building itself had lots of character and our room had a lovely little balcony that you could stand out on to take in your surroundings. The street below could get busy at times but we quite liked that, and enjoyed listening to the hustle and bustle outside.
The staff we came across were really helpful and the cleaners were very thorough, the room being spotless every day when we got back.
The hotel also offer a private airport transfer service that we used when arriving and leaving. Both drivers got us where we needed to be quickly and for a very reasonable cost. We arranged this directly with the hotel via email.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and would return if I ever visit Rome again.

Room
I had been upgraded to a double room having booked a single, it was a reasonable size, a little noisy so I could not leave the window open over night. This would be hot in summer. The shower door did not open and close easily.

Probably about 2.75 stars
This is a discrete little hotel that occupies floors 2 and 4 of an ex-apartment block. I could not find the entrance button, so was locked out for 5 minutes. Not a good start. Room was a single and very small. Not enough room to sit straight on the bathroom facilites. Walls are very thin and I had to listen to a couple "having fun" in the next room for an hour the first night, then the constant wail of sirens as the large main window was open and I had no idea of how to shut it. Hotel is excellently located just 150 metres from Repubblica station and only 10 minutes from Termini (main) rail station and Esquillano Square from where a lot of bus tours depart. It's 15-20 minutes walk from the Forums. In short - location is great - facilities not so, but bearable.
