Braid hills September

Reception staff very good.

Spacious, clean room above restaurant in annexe building. Slightly eccentric room design- tv miles from anywhere. Breakfast buffet all fresh and very tasty. Hotel in beautiful, quiet area away from city centre but with excellent transport links. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent value

The hotel is lovely, and an easy bus ride into town, the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

We don't usually take the bus, but it was very convenient and easy with kids.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and big and suited our needs perfectly.

Warm haven on a stormy night

Hotel was very nice.

Staff were friendly and welcoming just what we needed after a late arrival on a very stormy night. A little disappointed that we were put in area were the renovations are being carried out, as the smell of paint was a little overwhelming. Two rooms booked one for my teenage daughter and one for my husband and I, my daughter had a very large room to herself whilst we were tucked away in a much smaller room. So perhaps a little more thought to how many occupants in a room would have been good. On the whole when renovations are complete it should make for a very nice stay close to the city centre. Make sure you have the breakfast it is well worth money,

Quiet location close to the city

The hotel is in the suburbs with views of hills and low mountains through the breakfast windows.

Breakfast is as much as you want from a well stocked self-server. The location is quiet, being just off and a lot higher than the main road. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and enormous and everything worked.

Braid Hills Hotel April 2015

We had two excellent nights and would certainly recommend this hotel for value and setting .

The welcome was so warm , friendly and with a bit of humorous banter. Just what we needed after a long journey . Friendly staff , excellent food ... Amazing breakfasts. Comfortable bedroom..So quiet. Although renovation works were ongoing, they were carried out in such a way that disturbance was completely minimal . Our room was served with a well stocked hospitality tray and was comfortable and clean . The size was adequate for a couple . This hotel will not disappoint and can only get better as renovations continue to improve the overall experience for its customers. The public areas are comfortable with a muted elegance in the choice of colour and fabrics . The chandeliers add a touch of grandeur.

It is perfectly positioned on the bus route into the city centre with a regular bus service.

We are very satisfied customers and congratulate the staff throughout the hotel for making our stay an enjoyable experience .
