Good value for the price, good access to the city centre, food is great.
Mattress needs to change, very old, not comfortable to sleep well.
The staff were so nice and helpful, food was nice in the bar/restaurant.
Rooms were small but neet and tidy, found a pair of socks not belong to us. Location was ideal, we could walk everywhere. I would definetly stay here again
The hotel I found it to be a bit dated, the room itself was very basic and dated, remote control wasn't working and when you have 2 kids you need it working, however when I phoned reception they did replace it,, it only had 2 double sockets in the whole room ,so you can imagine with kids that need there phones and laptop s charging it was a fight for the only single plug left, after the lamp ,kettle and TV had the other 3 plug sockets, on a plus side the room was big more room that we needed, staff where good and friendly.
You did have to pay extra £10 for parking which I didn't like paying has you already paid I think to much for a dated hotel and room (£95)
Would Stay Again.
Very pleasant city hotel.
Stayed in a twin room with my teenage son as we were attending the University which is only 5-10 mins walk away. Room was clean with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Dinner was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast (buffet style) was also lovely and hot but perhaps a little expensive at £10 per head. The only downside was the stairs to the room, they were very steep and we were on the top floor. If you struggle with stairs make sure you ask for a low floor. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the city.
This is a nice hotel.
Lack of lift is a nuisance. Our room was nice, with two chairs, and the bathroom was excellent. Only problem was we were on the second floor, up 40 stairs, and there was no lift, which was a nuisance when we had to go back down to reactivate our key twice during a three night stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.
The hotel is situated in a good place just outside of the city centre, just a 5 minute walk and very straight forward.
The staff were very helpful when needed also pleasant and very polite. Our stay was great, slept very very well, bed was more than comfortable. Bathroom and room in general very clean. Breakfast was good too, just what we needed after our night at the cavern. Definitely recommend his hotel and would stay again on our next trip to Liverpool
Stayed at this hotel for one night, check in was very quick and efficient with welcoming staff.
The room we stayed in was very small on first expectations but we soon got used to it, another downside was the room was very cold throughout the stay. Comfy bed and decent bathroom though. Throughout the night we could also hear a lot of noise from outside which was a bit of a downside too. The breakfast in the morning definitely wasn't a let down, lovely choice available which was brilliant. Overall would stay again if needed.
Room was a bit small, but service and food excellent
My wife has been to Liverpool before and wanted to show me the sights.
She was in a Premier Inn close to the centre, but being Valentine's weekend, The Feathers Best Western was the closest we could get in our price range. On arrival, if using the car park, you lodge the keys with reception, as the car park is quite cramped and they may need to move your car to let someone out. Liverpool was all downhill from the hotel, so our practice was to walk down to Liverpool One, Docks etc then taxi back. On the 2nd and 3rd night, my wife was too tired to go back out and we ate in the restaurant where the food was excellent and varied. We also had the breakfast with porridge and Full English. Very nice and set us up for the day.
Hotel full of character
Apart from a wobbly bed the room was perfect.
Its an old building so there are nooks and crannies because of age but this adds to the charm. The woman on in the evening in reception was really lovely and friendly.
