Excellent hospitality coupled with excellent views and value for money too - Great.
Excellent hospitality is shown at this hotel with a personal touch. Nothing seems too much trouble and I was upgraded to the Deck 2 room which had wonderful views out to sea and of the port. This hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff extremely friendly.

Superior Accomodation in a Beautiful Setting
The staff here are exellent nothing is too much trouble. Very knowledgable about the history of the local area and the hotel was once the harbour masters house at the time the port was exporting slate world wide. The bistro opposite provides high quality food locally sourced food in a fascinating setting which was once The Slate Counting House for the port Ty Hen Llechan.
The pool steam room and sauna are an added bonus and the possibility of Holistic Treatments in the future will enhance the whole experience.
The room we stayed in had views over the Menai Strait which were stunning.
We were made very welcome and will be back.

A Gem, in a lovely location, with very friendly and accomodating staff
A lovely experience, even though I was there for a work meeting. Was made to feel very welcome and room upgraded to a fantastic suite overlooking the bay. Will definitely visit again, hopefully the next time for pleasure.

weekend break
Had an excellent two days at the hotel. The staff are the friendliest I have encountered in years. The hotel commands an excellent view over the Menai Straits and close by are a Bistro and the excellent Halfway House pub. Thelocal area is of outstanding beauty and Anglesey is a two minute drive away. Do yourselves a favour and stay here if you can. Oh by the way, the hotel serves some serious mesures in the bar! 10/10 and the food 11/10
