Reviews - Lords of the Manor

4AA Assessed Country House Hotel Ratings explained
Upper Slaughter , Gloucestershire, GL54 2JD
A 17th Century Rectory House, the newly-refurbished Lords is set amidst eight acres of lake and parkland, described by many as the loveliest in England. Walled gardens to the rear of the house provide an idyllic backdrop to the honey-coloured Cotswold stone of the rectory. The Lords of the Manor is an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. Comfortable sofas, real fires and soft lights all combine to create the warm atmosphere of a fine country house.

Great hotel
We loved our stay . Our room was a little tired but nicely furnished . The hotel was suffering from the effects of recent torrential rain but no one was inconvenienced . Every staff member we encountered was excellent , professional and welcoming . Dinner in the restaurant was awesome . Open fires were welcome on a wet English weekend. We are planning a family celebration in the summer and have decided on this hotel following our recent stay. Would totally recommend this as a top notch high end hotel.

1st Wedding Anniversary
My wife and I got married here a year ago and the return trip was not a disappointment. The service is exceptional, and the location, hotel and gardens are stunning. Dinner was awesome - if you like fine dining this is the place for you. And the breakfast wasn't half bad either. Would have loved to stay longer!
