Very comfortable clean room with pleasant staff ideal for a stay in chester centrally located
Only fault we found was the quality of the room, the furnishing loked cheap.
The staff were friendly and pleasant, also helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Food was good. But overall we did not think the price represented the quality of the room.
Service and hotel was great all staff where very friendly .
Only thing is the tele had like 4 channels we had 3 month old baby so once she was asleep wanted to unwind with wine and tele but had nothing to watch . Apart from that I would stay again was a great deal we got with the zoo tickets
You get what you pay for .
It was not mentioned in the advert that you have to pay £5 for the car park, but we found all day parking for £4 in the pub next door and it was free parking between 6pm and 8am . Our room was tiny and the fixtures and fittings needed a serious update and are very old fashioned. But our bed was very comfy and our stay was pleasant overall .
This hotel is perfectly located to explore Chester.
It's by the railway station and there is good parking if your driving good selection of pubs and restaurants close by. The hotel Is charming with lovely decor and the staff are very helpful I would defiantly stay here again.
Reasonably priced very noisey with the traffic and pub next door .
Also parking fees rather pricey.
The room I had paid for was clean but dark/ dull, even with the window.
To look out the window was like looking into a bad alley with other windows facing you. Was dark and dismal, no light what so ever. The tv said free view/ satellite but the remote did not even work with the tv. The remote was working but connected to nothing what so ever. I tried enough.
The bathroom was a good size, the bed was two single beds pushed together, the room was big and the tea and coffee was good. There was a music player and a hair dryer which was good but didn't really use it. Quite an uncomfortable sleep.
I wouldn't use this hotel again. Stick to the premier inn or holiday inn.
Walking distance from town and the station
Not a very good stay
I booked 2 nights with this hotel and was not happy at all I booked a dbl bedroom and when we went to bed the beds where on different levels meaning we where separated for most of the time and the beds where uncomfortable the following morning I told the reception they assured me I'd move to another room with a dbl bed that evening I fond it wasn't and was moved again till I finally got what I paid for also the evening meal on the second night was rushed and service was not very good and wasn't offered an afters like id paid for the following day the breakfast was not very organised I was not tacked to a table or informed of the set up a server asked if I wanted coffee and I received a cup but not asked about toast the fresh orange had ran out and the alpen also but neither replaced I don't think people had a clue what they where doing which was a disappointment cause this could be a great hotel
We have stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience.
However, this time we were disappointed to be in a very small room with a small bed and a shower that was broken. We reported the problem with the shower but it was not repaired whilst we stayed there (2 nights).
