Room for improvement
Can't fault the customer service to be fair.
When I was told I would be getting newly refurbished room I was a bit surprised; It had a hint of dry rot smell and the ceiling above the shower was flaking. Bed was comfortable. They had a new chef and I think he was still trying to sort out suppliers, the food menu was basic, ie Garlic Bread or Prawn Cocktail starter, Irish Stew (which was OK), Burger or Fish & Chips for main. Never got to try cooked breakfast. I got down at 7am as I needed to be away by 7.15. None of the cereals were out and the chef on duty couldn't get the oven working so just had cereal. I probably would give it another go before making a decision on whether I would continue to stay.
Cheep and cheerfull
Rooms could do with a bit of tlc, but were still clean and presentable.
Staff were very helpfull and friendly, and the evening meal we had was very good, the chef
certainly knows his stuff, the pork belly was faultless.
Helpful staff who were very well presented.
Room was small bur had everything you needed, although it has to be said the chair in the room was pretty dirty.I had very loud Karaoke until 1200 midnight which didn't help my sleep but it was a Saturday night and this is a pub/hotel, probably fine during the week.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
Bedroom on the small side but very clean and we both slept very well. Service was excellent, nicely cooked breakfast.
Very late booking but no problems
Booked 5pm on New Years Eve, no problems and everything ready for when we arrived 90 minutes later.
Very dissapointed.......that is all
