Comfortable and clean room; friendly service
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was only a few minutes drive from Clifton, which was handy for restaurants. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely styled. The bathroom looked very new with modern fittings and a large walk-in shower. My only complaint would be that our room was in the outside block and we had people coming back late at night and banging the main door to the block (which happened to be right outside our bedroom). The room was also lacking in sound-proofing generally, so people walking about in the room above could be heard quite loudly in our room.

Best Western Henbury....
We stayed at the Best Western Henbury Lodge hotel for one night , the cost us was room only and found this to be reasonable at £90.00 for the two of us. We booked in late as the traffic on the M5 was congested so we had to go straight to our appointment first, when we arrived around 9pm the car park was almost full but managed to squeeze in to a spot just out side the reception.
Upon approaching the desk( yes that's all it was a desk and PC) we booked in and was shown to what I could only describe as a converted stable... But it was adequate for an over night stay or two. Not sure how we would have survived if the outside temperature was any hotter as the room wasn't air conditioned.
On the whole the room we had was nice, there was facilities to make a cuppa and the bed was medium firm but only a double. Where we are used to a Super King we were fighting with the duvet most of the night.
The bath room was really lovely designed and a pleasure to use, but as I mentioned before because of the lack of AC in the room staying in the height of summer my prove uncomfy.
On the whole a good stay good price and friendly staff

A pleasant stay in Bristol
We stayed there for an extended weekend. Very clean, great service, free wi-fi, very friendly and helpful staff.
The building and furniture were a bit old and creaky, but bathroom and shower were top-end.

Excellent spot, great food and helpful staff
A convenient location, just a few minutes from the M5. Would be a great place to break a journey to Devon or Cornwall or a city break base.
All the positive comments about the staff in previous reviews are spot on. They were unfailingly friendly, helpful and smiling. Also all very smartly turned out - not always the case these days.
An excellent dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was very nice too.
Room was fine, very plush ensuite. Hint - the front rooms could be noisy due to the road.
We'd recommend this hotel and will be happy to return.

Great stay
We stayed in a small out building along side the main hotel and loved our room. Good size, very clean with new furnishings and brand new bathroom. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
