Very basic room, and I think it's time beds where changed very uncomfortable, not the best of staff, no menu for breakfast we had to ask what they had.
The saving grace was the swimming pool.
Free upgrade, superb customer service
Very happy with our anniversary stay.
Four poster bed upgrade. Big room. Excellent customer service. Food all lovely and value for money. Except bacon for breakfast which was not cooked enough in our opinion.
Travelling on business would stay again if nothing else available in locality.
Good points: helpful friendly staff, good value for money food. Bad points: traffic noise from A55, useless wifi, really creaky floor boards
Very picturesque just off the A55 30mins from Llandudno the hotel bit dated but very pleasant very clean receptionist very helpful.
They put us in the back because of wedding reception.very thoughtful. Didn't use the pool but it looked great will be stopping again
Great place to stay - had the pool to ourselves every time we swam.
Only problem was thinking we had booked B&B and it turned out to be room only - thanks LateRooms. Lovely people, good service, amazingly clean.
a little noise but nice stay
Springfield Hotel & Health Club
The hotel was excellent value, the appearance as immaculate.
The staff team were brilliant. Big thanks to young staff member Ashley who was very helpful and very efficient
Great value for money
Don't be put off by the 3 star rating.
This is a great hotel and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating of my young children and my elderly father.
Pleasant stay with great pool
The staff at the Springfield are very good and helpful.
The food is excellent and very good value for money. Personally I feel the hotel could reduce the portions and the price a little and if someone wants a large portion pay an extra £2 maybe to upgrade. The restaurant staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The food is very tasty and well presented. The pool was lovely and very warm, there was a sauna but I did not use that and unfortunately we did not get to use the gym due to children under 16 not being able to enter. Mandy the beautician was lovely and my daughter and I enjoyed our beauty treatments. The room was comfortable and had all that we needed, however, my bed in room 52 was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Also, I was woken each morning by next door's T.V. The bedheads of our beds backed onto next door's T.V. so I could hear it and at one point thought our T.V. was on. Personally I would have T.V.'s backing onto T.V. walls and bedheads onto bedhead walls, so not the best outcome from a sleep point of view. I do not know if all the rooms have this problem. Though we enjoyed our stay and would stay again it would depend on the layout of the T.V.'s and beds and whether they are the same in every room. I would not recommend it to anyone as I only recommend hotels with the WOW factor. The hotel is situated just off the A55 and for us it was a great location for travelling to Wales and surrounding areas.
One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was because of the pool and sauna.
The sauna was not working but no mention of this was made.
