Lovely room, great looking facilities, more than just a place to spend the night.
We really loved the room, the bed was comfy, the facilities were top notch, and the staff welcoming and efficient.
Would have like to explore the spa/pool etc, but didn't have time. The only thing we found odd was the way the lights were configured, we had to get out of bed to switch everything off or on.
The Telford Whitehouse Hotel
Very helpful staff.
Allowed us to store bikes over night in office.
Good quality and value for money
Great customer service.
Lady on reception was very friendly. There were problems with wifi but the receptionist offered use of reception computer to us. Rooms were spacious and the shower was very powerful. Great value for money.
Great for within budget family stay.
Free parking and a brilliant swimming pool makes this ideal for family breaks. Rooms are clean and adequate for me and my 2 kids. Only downside was no aircon so was hot and road noise when opened window made it difficult to sleep.
We would go again but ask for a room away from road.
Unless you are a football fan and not fussy don't bother
Television worked but had no signal dispite informing staff several times it wasn't rectified.
Hotel is next to football stadium so if there is a match on the hotel car parking area is also for football ground. We stayed over 2 nights on a Saturday and Sunday we had a large room but in dire need of renovating, the base of the bed was stained and the carpet was far from fresh. There was mould on the bath panel. Towels were clean but stained. I booked and had fortunately printed my confirmation as they tried to charge me an extra £40 it was reduced on production of my booking confirmation. On the plus side the bed was comfy.
Lovely room, just don't get locked in the bathroom!
We arrived ahead of check in time but our room was ready, and we wanted to use the leisure facilities anyway so that's where we headed - really nice swimming pool/changing room etc.
Our family room in the hotel was spacious and clean, lovely comfy beds and nice bathroom - although we did have to call for assistance when hubby got locked in due to a dodgy mechanism on the door handle. Only a couple of points I could make that were slightly inconvenient - 1)there are not sockets at the bedside so it was awkward for hubby to plug in his cpap machine for sleep apnea and 2) we could have done with a better supply of tea coffee and particularly milk as there were 3 of us and after just one drink there was no milk left (I feel sure had we called reception some would have been sent up) - that said, overall we enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.
Staff were friendly.
Room was big and equipped with all necessities. Would recommend.
Need to have a more inviting foyer area. The decor is austere and rather bland
The hotel is suitably alright for a regular folks like us.
It's nothing fancy but it's not a cheap place as well. Just right 😀
Reasonable accommodation- great gym & pool
The rooms are fairly basic & a little dated.
The only reason we're this hotel is for the excellent gym & pool facilities.
