Craig Manor
Overall a pleasant and friendly hotel, The cost of rooms are possibly a little high. Our room did not could not receive the free internet advertised. The bathroom was not well organised and shaving meant turning around 180 degrees to use the mirror on the opposite wall. However the rest of the room was very good with tea, coffee, TV etc. The hotel bar was open until a reasonable time and the prices again were relatively high. I would have expected some sore of concession for hotel residents. The breakfast choices were basically English breakfast or cereals. I personally did enjoy the English breakfast but there was no continental style displayed for foreign travellers. Croissants, bread and a tray of hams and cheeses would not be wasted here. Please note that these are all minor points, we really enjoyed our stay at the Craig Manor.

no leisure facilities
although the hotel was ok,the main factor of booking was to use the leisure facilities as described on late rooms, when we arrived at hotel we asked for our gym membership for nearby leisure club and we was told that this hasn't been in operation since last october!!!the matter was rectified by the hotel and after that we enjoyed our stay at craig manor.

Our one night stay
The hotel is in a good location but could do with a bit of TLC. The staff were efficient and quite pleasant and overall we were happy. A few things could be done better such as pots of coffee at breakfast not cups that we have to ask to be refilled, and not just butter and white sugar available. We prefer Flora or similar and sweeteners. A small thing but these things count. The food was excellent and we agreed that in many ways it was worthy of higher starred hotels. Nice choice very well cooked for dinner and breakfast. We will stay again because overall it was enjoyable.
