Our first Late Rooms Booking
Really fab hotel! Incredible building in amazing grounds with the lake. The evening meal was delicious. Staff were shortstaffed I think and worked very hard. Absolutely spotlessly CLEAN everywhere, every stair case, corridor, paintwork, our room... spotless!
Breakfast was generous, huge variety.
Just one thing....white tablecloths in the restaurant for the evening meal would be one final classy touch and make it a bit special for diners. The small rosemary plants in red pots was a lovely detail...so white table cloths would be just right. It would also make a nice contrast when there are no table cloths for breakfast.

Nice surrounding
Nice surroundings, room was big. Staff were not very friendly with the expectation of the gentleman working at the bar in the evening on the 8th of May . No staircase, not good if you have a lot or heavy luggage. Bathroom wasn't very clean, especially around the taps in the sink and the bathroom also needs some touch ups. Duvet cover was too big for the duvet.
