Good accommodation in an excellent location
I did not try the restaurant or breakfast bar because Teddington has plenty of good places for food.
The type of establishment you see Gordon Ramsay trying to save on his TV shows.
It's dying on its ar5e. Rundown, souless, shocking service and food. Spend a little extra and head to the hotel round the corner.
Small rooms, and i got charged twice which the hotel still deny responsibility for.
No mention that there would be works in the restaurant. Avoid.
Over-priced and not up to standard - very tired
Booked hotel for its close proximity to Twickenham and I thought that the price charged would have guaranteed a much better hotel then what we received.
The rooms reminded us of a hospital room. There dining room for breakfast was just not what you would expect. The smoke alarm in the bedroom had a plastic bag placed over it; this was probably because the alarm itself was placed too close to the bathroom and it was our guess that the steam from the bath/shower would have set it off - only noticed on the morning. clearly not acceptable
This hotel is all about location
We've stayed here on a number of occasions and we find the rooms comfortable and clean.
We stay here for the ease of access to transport and the local amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make the stay easy.
Worst Restaurant Ever, Hotel Ineffecient
I have stayed in hotels twice a week for the last twenty-five years and this is one of the worst yet.
The restaurant was truly appalling, and should have been closed, as only an agency chef was available and he couldn't cook. Food arrived late and burned or completely raw with cheap, frozen fries instead of the home cooked chips we had been promised by the menu. Garnishes, sauces and salads were all missing and we ended up having to order in pizza. Hotel bar closed at 11.00 pm with no last orders called, unless you wanted bottled beer or J2O. Check in and check out were inefficient and confused and we were charged for a "no show" when the person was actually asleep in the room in the hotel annex.
Piles of boxes in corridor and fire doors propped open with wedges. The hotel manager was not on site at all during our stay and was "unavailable" to take phone calls even though we could hear him speaking to the receptionist in the background.
A great over-nighter
Great room - central location - all round good deal
Nice Hotel, Good Location
We only stayed here for one night.
It's based in a quiet ish area, good local shop and only a very short walk from bushy park, a superb park with lovely walks. Would definitely stay here again.
An experience which turned a difficult emergency call into a restful weekend break
Having booked last minute following an urgent request for assistance from a family member, we were dubious about the standard of accommodation we had booked on line, and arrived, after a difficult 250 miles journey, quite tired.
The warm and genuine reception we received, the initial presentation of the room we had been allocated, and its quality and facilities as we subsequently experienced them, together with the really excellent quality of food, turned a chore into a restful and rewarding weekend break. Would strongly recommend the Park Hotel
The Park Hotel
Excellent stay - very convenient to Teddington High Street, Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens.
Free parking an added bonus. Will stay again.
