Our 400 Year old Inn has been fully refurbished in November 2010, to give it a stylish contemporary feel which enhance the many original Seventeen Century features. Located less than a 5 minute walk from the town center we are ideal for both business and pleasure. The main tourist attraction is the world famous Warwick Castle which is just a 10 minute walk away.

There are two drinking areas which both have ample seating for dining which are adorned with historic pictures of Warwick. Wines are attractively displayed in the bar area which adds to the ambiance and gives it a rustic feel.

There is also an attractive Vine Garden with a seating area underneath the pergola which is attractively lit up in the evenings making it ideal place to sit on a summer evening.

We serve a variety of food to suit all tastes freshly cooked to order from Monday to Saturday all day.

The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard offering every modern convenience, each of the rooms are unique and many of the original Seventeenth Century features have been retained giving them their individual characteristics.

There is also access to computer workstations and printing facilities as well as the free WIFI throughout the building.

We have a private car park which is locked each evening for added security.

Friendly staff
The hotel is in easy walking distance of the town center. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was very clean and tidy. We were impressed by the excellent breakfast.

Charming and welcoming
Lets face it, you don't book a stay in a 400 year old buliding offering four-poster beds if you crave up-to-date mod-cons and furnishings.
With it's rustic charm, historic feel and many genuine features, the King's Head Inn is an ideal little getaway, just off the main drag in Warwick, offering pleasant service, a comfortable bed and all the quaintness you can take.
The staff were welcoming upon arrival, accomodating when we arrived back from an evening out after hours, cheery at breakfast and efficient on check-out.
What more could you ask for?
Really....if you want modern and sleek, there are many chains offering just that....but here the focus is upon homely and traditional.
The breakfast was freshly cooked, and not the awful undercooked buffet style found in most chain hotels and extra toast was offered with a smile after breakfast had 'finished' .
All in all, a pleasant stay in an old fashioned Inn, one which we would not hesitate to recommend or return to.

Warm and welcoming. Perfect for what we wanted, a one night stay passing through. Food was good both evening and breakfast. Would stay again.

Good base to explore Warwick
Very Friendly and helpful staff. Well situated. All Warwick museums castle etc within walking distance. Food beautifully cooked and presented and reasonably priced. Rooms small but fairly well appointed and clean. However, the bathrooms ,although clean, were extremely small and badly in need of refurbishment and improvement. A good base to explore Warwick and Warwickshire.
If the bathrooms get the refurbishment they need, would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Good value overnight for business trip. Would have been helpful to have had some sort of desk/table in the bedroom, rather than balance laptop on small bedside table. Very comfy bed. Evening bar meal & breakfast good.

Quaint old pub/hotel, helpful staff (offered us a 2 for 1 voucher for entry to Warwick Castle). Lovely breakfast in the morning. Two open fires in the bar areas.

We had a very pleasant stay . Will hopefully go back again.
The hotel was a very nice and friendly .food was very nice service was second to none . Would recommend to everybody . Really enjoyed our stay . Hope to go back again .

had a great two nights stay at the kings head food was good the room was fine the bed was a liitle hard but it was a four poster warwick is a lovely historic town and a visit to the castle is a must
