Great Location for Paddington and Heathrow
Single room was quite small and the bathroom even smaller. The room was very clean, staff polite and helpful. No lift so it helps to be use to stairs. Mattress was good. Back room was quiet.
Lobby unimpressive but you don't spend time there. Breakfast was good cooked English Breakfast.

Great break!
The Cardiff Hotel was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even late at night. It is a perfect venue for either a short-break in London (very handy location), or for a business stay, and was quiet with very clean rooms and great showers.

Quality in a Small Space
Room was very clean and good bed. Room on the front was a little noisy if you need to have the window open. Breakfast was great both food quality and staff.
Some problem with wi fi connection by front desk staff was very helpful.

Hotel was good and clean, absolutely ideal for the Hyde Park Radio 2 concert, just a five minute walk away, good breakfast too, no complaints, the surrounding area is how London should be, luvly.

No a pleasant stay !
I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Paddington hotel and the previous reviews. The hotel room was vey small ,I had a toilet and a shower in the room which was very small which you could barley fit in to.An night time I could not sleep because of all the noise from the street and the people coming in and out of the hotel until late morning around 3 am.The breakfast is very average and the luggage store is in the basement with very narrow stair access which was very difficult for my heavy luggage. This hotel is definitely not for someone who looks for a quiet stay in and convenient. The only positive thing is very close to Paddington station only 2 mins walk and good access to Heathrow express. The area of the hotel is nice packed with good restaurants and bars.

Small and Comfortable
Very convenient location only 2 minutes walk from Paddington station, and very friendly reception staff. No lift so a room on the third floor with a very narrow last staircase is always a difficulty for older and less mobile people. Rear facing room with a great small balcony nicely furnished with table and chairs., Bed comfortable and tiny but very clean and good shower and toilet. Nice buffet breakfast with cooked and continental options. Very convenient for restaurants and travel.
