Great place for a romatic retreat!
This hotel is well placed in the centre of Truro, especially as we went for New Years Eve. We wear able to step straight out on to Lemon Quay and watch the fire works at midnight. The shops, pubs and restaurants are all on the door step, and there was secure parking available in front of the apartments. We stayed in one of the apartments, the first one we had contained a toilet that refused to stop filling, we mentioned it to the lady on reception but were told that there was no body to come and fix it. We stuck it for one night and then asked to be moved for the rest of the stay, which we did and we ended up in a lovely apartment with no irritating toilet. The apartment’s, whilst spacious, feel very cosy, and each have a fully kitted out modern kitchen if you decide to eat in. The breakfast at the hotel was great; we didn’t need to order any of the cooked food because there was so much choice with the continental option. We also tried the restaurant on the first night and our dinner was really, really tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

A taste of luxury in Truro
Mannings hotel is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall or shopping in Truro. Our visit was, sadly, due to a bereavement but the courtesy of the staff and the fantastic food did help us relax. A family get-together in the hotel restaurant on the first night allowed us all to talk about our loss in very convivial surroundings where we were looked after very well indeed.
We will definitely visit again, under happier circumstances next time.

Sehr unruhige Nacht
Schönes Stadthotel. Sehr zentral gelegen. Zimmer und Bad neuwertig und schön. Leider ohne Lift bei Zimmer im 3. Stock. Frühstück nicht umwerfend aber ok. Keine Nachtruhe, kaum geschlafen weil die ganze Nacht Mövengekreische.
