3 night stay

Was staying three nights but had to move after first night.

First room was a distance from conference room and when moved car was too far away. First room had no iron and only two hangers.

Also very strong smell of damp. Otherwise room comfortable.

Reasonable value

Okay value for money as far as room accommodations and Windsor location.

Much larger complex than expected. Bar was noisy and not well presented. Not impressed WIFI is extra cost.

Good for a short family stay

We arrived early evening on a Saturday and it was clearly busy with a wedding reception, unfortunately this meant it took over 20 minutes to check-in.

However, once done we found our way to our room and were pleasantly surprised to find a very large family/disabled room with a large bathroom. All good. Only issue was a broken down boiler in the morning which meant there was no hot water for showers after our family swim - these things happen and cannot be helped and was sorted by offering us a 40% discount on checkout.

Room very basic felt more like a B and B than big hotel and no distinguishing feature of standing out would on reflection have bee better staying local B and B cheaply

poor state of the bathroom

The bath was badly chipped and no effort made to repair it.

The shower was a joke, hardly enough water coming out to get wet. The water was very hot, which would have been fine if the bath cold tap had worked. As it was I was unable to take a bath because I would have got second degree burns!

Lovely place to stay but the CCTV dosen't cover all the car parks.

On arrival was welcomed by staff who were very helpful and explained everything we needed to know.

Found the hotel was a bit of a maze but was lovely and the room was just as nice as the pictures when I booked. Now for the bad points, The food on a morning was ok but not amazing found the food to be a cold or timid, some staff in the dining area just pushed past people at times instead of just saying excuse me which I found rather rude (one kicked the back of my chair to move it in as I was leaning over to feed my son) Was very annoyed to find my car was damaged on one morning from some unknown person but when I went reception about it. I found out even though theres signs saying 24hr CCTV there was none. So now I have a nice repair bill to pay, thanks mystery driver. If I had of known there was no CCTV in the car park I would of not parked in it as this has happened to me in the past at another hotel. I picked this hotel as it was suppose to have 24hr CCTV will be phoning hotel directly next time to find out if they have it or not. (Even though this happened the reception staff did what they could to help me) I have put yes to staying here again but would only use the hotel for the room stay after the experience it spoilt my family holiday.

I arrived late in the evening with 2 children under the age of 5 and was not offered any assistance.

Despite this, I would stay again if I was with another adult

Room could have been bigger, no hair conditioner and so far away from everything, not good if you had walking problems, Only 1 hour free wifi.

Generally good value, very efficient staff. Pool tired. Stayed 3 nights, breakfast good at the weekend but was closing down early and not as good on Monday.

Ok but nothing special...

When booking for a road trip, my girlfriend and I liked the look of the grounds and the old house and so decided to stay at this hotel.

What we weren't expecting was a tiny room, soft mattress nor the hike all the way around the hotel to get to our room. It is an ok hotel but the marketing department have done well to create an illusion... Tip for breakfast, go to the harvester!
