Great stay

I stayed in this lovely victorian style b&b in the old town of Edinburgh for one night.

And the quality of the room and food was fantastic and the landlady even cooked my breakfast an hour early as I had an early start. So all in all, a fantastic stay. Thank you and will be recommending to my friends :)

friendly people, basic but good value room.

For £45 this was great value.

The couple were very friendly and helpful. The separate bathroom on a different floor but very good. 20 min walk to city centre. Only quibble was an exceptionally worn carpet.

Highly recommended

A well run friendly B&B in a good location.

Callum adds a lovely personal touch, as he made contact prior to arrival to give directions. Rooms vary in size, but are clean and very comfortable. A good choice of breakfast options.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay

This guest house is perfect for a family.

The owners were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. The location is quiet but close enough to all the attractions to make travel quick and easy. I couldn't recommend it more.

Authentic room with a view!

Aonach Mor is perfectly situated for a city break, being just a short walk (20 mins) to the Royal Mile or 5 mins on a number of buses.

The house is a beautiful, traditional city dwelling, constructed from red sandstone and filled with tasteful, period furniture. Arthur's Seat rears up behind the House and we were lucky enough to have an incredible view from our window. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and the standard and variety of food for breakfast was amongst the highest I have sampled at a guesthouse. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
