Beautiful surroundings, lovely hotel!
We booked a twin room but were originally given a double when we arrived. We rang down to Reception and they were really helpful and moved us straight away to a twin. The room was really lovely but there was a distinct lack of plug sockets - considering we were there for a night out and needed straighteners/hairdryers/phone chargers etc this was a little frustrating. We had to move the beds out to get to the other sockets and let's just say, they've not been cleaned behind in a while! In general though it was a nice room. The ensuite was fine but the shower was very basic and we struggled to get the temperature right (it was a mixer tap) with any amount of decent pressure. All in all not a bad place to stay, and reasonably priced for Bath but I have stayed in better places with cheaper prices. Oh, we also booked a long time in advance so I forgot what we had actually booked and the hotel receptionist forgot to tell us that we had booked breakfast until we were checking out - a little frustrating!

The hotel is situated in a very small settlement, in the rolling hills of outside bath. The front of staff were very polite and could not do enough for ourselves to answer any questions. Our room was ready for us to check in before 1 o'clock which meant we had more of the day to explore the area. the room was very well equipped, and very light and spacious. We would highly recommend the pub just next to the hotel for a meal, massive portions sizes, lovely food and friendly atmosphere.

Not overly impressed with the reception and the bar left a lot to be desired. The location and building are great. The quality of the evening meal and waiters was excellent.

draughty!
Sash window not fitted properly and letting in a serious draught. Not acceptable for 3* accommodation.
Otherwise, nice room and view.
Breakfast staff very efficient and pleasant.
Inn at bottom of drive recommended for food and beer, but steep walk back up the hill to the hotel!

One night stay for hospital appointment.
I very much enjoyed my stay. Being wheelchair bound I found the access to my room of excellent quality. The staff were kind, understanding and made me feel incredibly welcome. The food was excellent and given the chance, I will stay there again and would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone who asked.
