Blue Inn

This was our second stay at BlueInn and it didn't let us down.

Nice clean room, friendly and obliging staff. We didn't use the restaurant this time round as we were eating at my relatives but on our next visit hopefully September we hope to make use of the restaurant. Excellent value for money.

Was very pleased with the check-in, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Room very clean with everything we needed in there.

Food was good but expensive given the price of the rooms.

The set up of the hotel was a bit awkward because you have to walk a bit ddistance outside to go to the restaurant.

I found it hard to get into the bath because it's too deep and no handles. Flushing the toilet was another thing water didn't come out properly. The restaurant was clean and breakfast excellent.

My stay at Blue Inn

Room was large and spacious.

Powerful shower. Now the downfalls. The mattress had a large dip in the middle. Great for newlyweds. Pillows as thick as a credit card I had 4 pillows and I still felt like I had none

Great looking menu. I had Thai fish cakes for startes these were quite nice and tasty. My main was Burger all though looked good was very dry and not much taste and rubbery. I mentioned this to the waiter who said " sorry" and went away with no feedback to me.

Breakfast is £10 which you get 1 sausage 1 egg 1 bacon 1 slice of bread and a small spoon of beans tea or coffee. I think for £10 this is a lot for a small breakfast.

I paid £59 for the room and breakfast and it would have been the same if two were in the room I was a lone traveller working in the area I think this is not acceptable. But the overall experience was good but it could do with a few improvments

Great value room and lovely food in the restaurant

Me and my fiance stayed one night when visiting family we were really happy with everything.

Staff were friendly and attentive, room was basic but spacious and clean. We both had a mixed grill in the restaurant and it was delicious we couldn't fault it. Good variety at breakfast would stay again.

Good value accomodation for travellers

Stayed one night to break a long journey.

Arrived late (around 10:45pm). Staff were very attentive and helpful on arrival and the following morning. Room was basic but clean - perfectly adequate for a short stay. Bathroom was a bit chilly (didn't notice any heating there) but it was a very cold night. Breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had in many years. Overall very good value.
