Good weekend

We stayed her for the one night for my birthday and very good.

Nice rooms...can be a bit of a maze to find yours when you've had a few but no issues otherwise. Short taxi drive to the big market area and plenty of places to eat and drink near (and in) the hotel if you don't fancy that. Would definitely go back.

Carpet in room was hideous.

Shelves were falling off. However it was a big room and the bed was comfy. Location is good. Hotel just needs some refurbishment.

We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was tasteful, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. The hotel looked nice inside. We had afternoon tea in the bistro (sat outside) which was lovely except we were forgotten and never got our tea (we had a glass of Prosecco though) when we went inside everyone had gone. We also got an accidental wake up call at 5.50am on the first morning which wasn't ideal. Overall though, I'd go back as it was a nice hotel in a lovely area.
